In Halo Reach i was temporarily banned from matchmaking because of quitting but it was my internet connection?

How do i get unbanned i can still play custom games and have x box live connection i was just banned from matchmaking how can i fix this. Will restarting my router work? Maybe changing my ip address and if so how would i change my ip address.

You cant be banned for quitting a game. You did something else that is illegal and I have no desire to help you.

Why don’t you just wait the 15 minutes that the ban is for? Bungie only gives a 15 minute ban for quitting in any form excessively.
Edit: And yes, Bungie can temporarily ban you from their online services, and have implemented a feature to do so in Halo Reach. Exit from a game too many times, and you will be slapped with a 15 minute ban.

just wait like 30 minutes. unfortunately for me this message pops up every time I start up the game, so its impossible for me to leave game game without being banned. Bobby, bungie will ban you if you leave to many games, he’s not doing anything illegal…

My Halo does the same thing, it sucks, XBL takes a crap, dumps me, then i get banned from Halo for 15 minutes since it says i quit the game-even though it’s their shitty server.

You don’t get banned for disconnecting the internet, take all the challenge glitchers for example. Score attack or any game type and out goes the ethernet you blantely quit purpousley from frustration in game so don’t post online sayin how it was ur internet bungie aint stupid and know when you quit!
