With the new Xbox Dashboard you can install your games onto your hard drive so you dont need the disk. How much memory does it take to install the games Grand Theft Auto 4 and Halo 3? Thanks!
Im borrowing the games from my friend tomorrow so I can install them and play them without the disk…I wont know how much itll take up until I install them.

you got it worng, installing the games only lowers the loading time, i tried downloading nfs underground and after it all, it asked for the cd you can try but im telling you that it is a disappointment… i thought the same

aaron is wrong. it makes loading slower for some games, and yes, halo 3 is one of them. they have a big article on it on bungie.net. it enhances most games. as for gta 4, i just installed it. it takes 6.8 gigs and a little fyi, you still need the disc in the machine to play it. people are talking about copying games on there and returning them to friends or whatnot. that is false. if you download a game, the disc NEEDS to be in there when you play it. the gaming industry would lose so much money if they let people copy games to the hard drive and not have to use a disc. and i’m not sure how much space halo would take. probably about the same amount. hope this helps. have a good one
