Can we play halo reach online with a Silver Account?

my subscription recently ended and my dad wont renew it
im dying to play reach online but i have a silver account… is there any way i can play matchmaking or sumfin online??

You can’t play ANY game online unless you have a Gold subscription. Sorry <3

Yea actually there is a way. You can’t play with just Silver membership though.
Here’s how:
Make a new account, and make sure it’s a unique enough name that isn’t already taken on Xbox Live. Then, sign up for Xbox Live under this new account. It will ask if you want Silver or Gold membership, so just choose “Silver” at this point. Then it will give you a free month of Gold!
But…: -you can only do this with 3 different accounts on 1 Xbox.
-it kind of sucks that you have to make a new account, but if you’re that desperate to play, hell I would do the same.

no silver accounts cant play online period nothing else to it just renew it your self go buy a gold membership card from the store then you don’t need your dads credit card

Well the first TWO WEEKS Reach was out silver members actually had the ability to play online multiplayer with the gold members. Too slow, man, sucks.

If you have a GOLD account you can use a silver as a guest so you can customize yourself and level up.
(You can’t play Arena though)

You can’t play anything with a silver membership. But you can get a free one month subscription that will enable you to play online.

Well… I was just playing Reach with my brother, and he was signed in as a guest, but then we were going to play offline and switch to offline playing, but it didn’t correct itself and he was allowed to play on X-box live Halo: Reach, on any game type… try it out, it might have been a fluke but, it worked for a few hours until we quit.
